PT | Em Corpo-Ritual, revelam-se fragmentos de um outro mundo: visões oníricas e símbolos que se materializam em esculturas. A artista coloca-se como ponte entre realidades, canalizando imagens do incosciente e fragmentos de sonho, transmutando o invísivel em matéria - um rito íntimo onde o corpo se torna altar. Os objetos escultóricos, ao tocarem a pela, criam uma narrativa visual que se apresenta vcomo extensão de um universo interior.

ENG |  In Corpo-Ritual, fragments of another world are revealed: oneiric visions and symbls that materialize into sculpture. The artist present herself as a bridge between realities, channeling images from the unconscious and fragments of dreams, transmuting the invisible into matter — an intimate ritual where the body becomes an altar. The sculptural objects, when touching the skin, create a visual narrative that emerges as an extension of an inner universe.

PT | Eduarda Novita é uma artista brasileira, nascida em Brasília e atualmente residente em Lisboa. A sua trajetória profissional começou com Publicidade e Propaganda, onde atuou com design gráfico e consultoria de identidade visual para marcas, ampliando a sua visão sobre comunicação criativa e identidade estética.

Em 2022, iniciou um Mestrado em Escultura na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, aprofundando sua pesquisa artística e explorando novos materiais e formatos. Antes de se dedicar à escultura, produziu pinturas em acrílico com apelo surrealista, cores vibrantes e referências à cultura pop. A mudança para Lisboa trouxe um período de completa transição criativa e estética que a levou a experimentar a tridimensionalidade e a criação de objetos escultóricos.

A sua pesquisa tridimensional também se estendeu para o campo da moda, resultando na criação de acessórios que exploram a relação entre corpo e escultura.

Com interesse pela natureza humana e temas que contemplam o inconsciente, ela explora diferentes materiais e formas de expressão para materializar seu universo interno e onírico num plano tridimensional e utiliza da arte para aprender sobre si mesma.

ENG | Eduarda Novita is a Brazilian artist, born in Brasília and currently living in Lisbon. Her professional career began in Advertising, where she worked in graphic design and visual identity consultancy for brands, broadening her vision of creative communication and aesthetic identity.

In 2022, she began a Master's degree in Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, deepening her artistic research and exploring new materials and formats. Before dedicating herself to sculpture, she produced acrylic paintings with a surrealist appeal, vibrant colors and pop culture references.

The relocation to Lisbon brought a period of complete creative and aesthetic transition that led her to experiment with three-dimensionality and the creation of sculptural objects.

Her three-dimensional research also extended into the field of fashion, resulting in the creation of accessories that explore the relationship between the body and sculpture.

With an interest in human nature and themes that contemplate the unconscious, she explores different materials and forms of expression to materialize her internal and dreamlike universe on a three-dimensional plane and uses art to learn about herself.
