PT | www.wop! é uma vídeoinstalação interativa em que uma máquina de reação em cadeia conecta mecanismos analógicos a projeções de vídeo, combinando blackboard animation — variação desenvolvida pelo artista a partir da técnica whiteboard animation — com performances captadas em espaços urbanos. Cruzando teatro físico, animação e tecnologia, a obra cria uma narrativa não linear, inspirada por elementos do surrealismo, onde janelas abrem espaço para universos imaginários. O público é agente ativo da experiência, definindo os percursos da máquina e reconfigurando a narrativa a cada ativação.

ENG | www.wop! is an interactive video installation in which a chain reaction machine connects analog mechanisms to video projections, combining blackboard animation — a variation developed by the artist from the whiteboard animation technique — with performances captured in urban environments. Merging physical theatre, animation, and technology, the work creates a non-linear narrative inspired by elements of surrealism, where windows open into imaginary worlds. The audience plays an active role in the experience, defining the machine's pathways and reshaping the narrative with each activation.

PT | Wandré Gouveia é artista multidisciplinar, com atuação nas artes cênicas, circo, audiovisual e música. Formado em Arte Dramática e Roteiro Cinematográfico, integrou formações importantes em palhaçaria, bufão, teatro físico e equilibrismo, com base em pedagogias como a de Jacques Lecoq. Desenvolve um trabalho autoral que cruza humor físico, presença cênica e experimentações com objetos, som e tecnologia.

Pesquisador do diálogo entre arte e cultura maker, investiga narrativas híbridas que unem performance, audiovisual e ambientes imersivos. Atua também como músico e sonoplasta ao vivo, utilizando beatbox, trompete e sintetizadores com loop stations, explorando texturas sonoras em cena.

É idealizador de projetos que promovem arte em territórios periféricos, articulando circo, ocupação urbana e práticas comunitárias. Vive entre Brasil e Portugal, onde segue aprofundando suas pesquisas em performance, criação coletiva e artes de rua.

ENG | Wandré Gouveia is a multidisciplinary artist, working in the performing arts, circus, audiovisual and music. With a degree in Dramatic Art and Film Script, he has completed important training courses in clowning, buffoonery, physical theater and balancing, based on pedagogies such as those of Jacques Lecoq. He develops authorial work that combines physical humor, stage presence and experimentation with objects, sound and technology.

A researcher of the dialog between art and maker culture, he investigates hybrid narratives that unite performance, audiovisual and immersive environments. He also works as a live musician and sound designer, using beatbox, trumpet and synthesizers with loop stations, exploring sound textures on stage.

He is the creator of projects that promote art in peripheral territories, combining circus, urban occupation and community practices. He lives between Brazil and Portugal, where he continues to deepen his research into performance, collective creation and street art.
