Sinopse | Synopsis

PT | Neste labirinto de incertezas que é a vida, emergiu a pulsão de criar este projeto, que se lança como uma fuga cósmica rumo ao infinito, ao desconhecido que nos atrai e desafia. É no espaço do vazio, onde a gravidade abdica da sua presença e o silêncio ecoa como um enigma, que as perguntas mais fundamentais se erguem, convocando-nos a questionar a própria essência da existência humana.

As inquietações que germinaram durante os dias sombrios da pandemia conduziram-me para além dos limites da realidade tangível, na busca por um refúgio onde a imaginação pudesse transgredir as amarras do possível. Foi nesse desvio que o tempo se desnudou na sua relatividade, expondo a contradição inerente entre vida e morte, entre efemeridade e eternidade.

Vivemos numa era onde tudo escorre pelas mãos com a pressa do fugaz, onde não há espaço para a contemplação ou mesmo o pensamento. Este projeto nasce, portanto, como uma pausa criativa, uma tentativa de habitar o vazio e explorar o infinito, reinventando a nossa relação com o tempo, o espaço e o mistério de existir.

ENG | In this labyrinth of uncertainties that is life, the urge to create this project emerged, which launches itself as a cosmic escape towards the infinite, the unknown that attracts and challenges us. It is in the space of the void, where gravity gives up its presence and silence echoes like an enigma, that the most fundamental questions arise, calling us to question the very essence of human existence.

The concerns that germinated during the dark days of the pandemic led me beyond the limits of tangible reality, in search of a refuge where the imagination could transgress the bonds of the possible. It was in this detour that time became naked in its relativity, exposing the inherent contradiction between life and death, between ephemerality and eternity.

We live in an age where everything slips through our hands in the rush of the fleeting, where there is no room for contemplation or even thought. This project is therefore born as a creative pause, an attempt to inhabit the void and explore the infinite, reinventing our relationship with time, space and the mystery of existing.

Sobre | About - Sara Santos

PT | Sara Santos tem 30 anos e foi aluna da Escola Superior de Artes e Design de Caldas da Rainha. No último ano da licenciatura, estudou no estrangeiro através do programa Erasmus. Além disso, pinta no Atelier de Belas Artes e interessa-se por outras áreas como a música e a literatura. Estudou violino na Escola de Música Metropolitana de Lisboa durante 7 anos. Frequentou alguns workshops de pintura e desenho na escola NextArt em Lisboa. Concluiu uma pós-graduação em design gráfico na Escola Superior de Design de Lisboa, em Lisboa. Mais tarde, frequentou um workshop de pintura na Slade School of Fine Art. Gosta de explorar outras componentes criativas, como a comunicação e o design editorial.

A Sara é uma pessoa de mente aberta e curiosa que gosta de aprender, viajar e visitar exposições. Gosta de comunicar e trocar opiniões com os outros para absorver e partilhar conhecimentos.

ENG | Sara Santos is 30 years old and a student at the Caldas da Rainha School of Arts and Design. In the final year of her degree, she studied abroad through the Erasmus program. She also paints at the Atelier de Belas Artes and is interested in other areas such as music and literature. She studied violin at the Lisbon Metropolitan Music School for 7 years. She attended some painting and drawing workshops at the NextArt school in Lisbon. She completed a postgraduate course in graphic design at the Lisbon School of Design in Lisbon. She later attended a painting workshop at the Slade School of Fine Art and enjoys exploring other creative fields, such as communication and editorial design.

Sara is an open-minded and curious person who enjoys learning, traveling and visiting exhibitions. She likes to communicate and exchange opinions with others in order to absorb and share knowledge.
